University of Cape Town announced Scholarship for South African citizens for Master’s study at South Africa -2012

Scholarship Provider: University of Cape Town
Scholarship can be taken at: South Africa
– Preference will be given to South African citizens, although applications from students from the SADC countries will also be considered.
– Applicants must have achieved at least 65% for the 4th or final year or the Honours degree.
– Applicants must have at least TWO years working experience in the general area of the proposed study
– Applicants must be accepted (or provisionally accepted) by the academic department, and have secured a supervisor in the department in which the study is to be carried out

Scholarship Description: The Simon Nicks Sustainability Scholarship has been established to provide support to Master’s students who strive towards the promotion of the environmental sustainability agenda; who intend to influence policy regarding global, national and local environmental issues, and who will register for a full-time MPhil degree at the University of Cape Town, in one of the following (or related) *areas:
. Engineering
. Architecture
. City & Regional Planning
. Urban Design
. Environmental and Geographical Sciences
. Economics
