The University of Namibia is inviting suitably qualified candidates to apply for a vacant Lecturer (Psychiatry) position in the Department of Medical Sciences, School of Medicine within Faculty of Health Sciences and Veterinary Medicine at Hage Geingob Campus, Windhoek.

Job Summary:
Lecture undergraduate and postgraduate students, conduct clinical and bedside teaching at teaching hospitals, assessments of students including examinations management and engage in research and publications activities, participate in curriculum development, provide service to the academic and wider community, and perform any other duties as may be required.

Requirements:
A Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery (MBChB) degree, Master degree in the field of specialization, plus a Membership or Fellowship from a recognized college. Registered or registerable with the Health Professions Council of Namibia (HPCNA), demonstrated at least three (3) years or more clinical / lecturing experience and a satisfactory record of research and publications will be an advantage.
