Vacancy Details

A Plastic manufacturing company is seeking a Skilled Setter to join their team and play a pivotal role in our production process.

 

Responsibilities:

• Identify and rectify technical issues on production equipment.
• Conduct fault analysis and problem-solving independently.
• Develop and implement maintenance plans.
• Set and adjust machines for optimal performance.
• Liaise with managers and internal/external stakeholders for effective communication and problem resolution.
• Ensure compliance with health, safety, and quality standards.

 

 

Requirements:

• Secondary Education (Grade 12)
• Minimum N2 in Tool, Jig & Die trade theory with trade certification (red seal) preferred
• 5 years of relevant setting experience
• Sound understanding of technical drawings and fault-finding principles
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills
• Passion for career growth in packaging with environmental awareness
• Experience on machines like (but not limited to), MB50, PF6, etc.
