Vacancy Details

Benchmarking Institutional Brokers with a global footprint, is looking for a financial Officer to manage the settlement of all FX Derivative and Bond Trades in terms of the JSE Rules and Directives. In this role your responsibilities will include: to effectively resolve queries as they arise, deal with and follow up with the relevant stakeholders, including banks and clients, reconcile Net Settlements schedules to Bank Statements, and BDA, Review Client Brokerage Figures for reasonability and update database, support the Compliance Officer to ensure compliance with applicable legislation, follow exchange instructions, monitor trade exclusions, and render support to the Head of Operations with the full Operations function.

 

Candidate Requirements:

• BCom, B.Compt or equivalent
• Bond Settlement Officer Exams (JSE EXAM) will be Highly advantageous
• Minimum 2 years experience in a similar environment – Stockbroking, Fund Services or Asset Management
• Working knowledge and understanding of financial instruments, including Fixed Income and Derivative Instruments
• Knowledge and experience on local and international settlements.
