On this programme you’ll have the chance to develop into an experienced chartered accountant, through exposure to all the Financial Management elective skills prescribed by the SAICA training model. You’ll develop your financial management skills, gain extensive commercial expertise and will build on the skills you need to become a future business leader.
You’ll enjoy a series of rotations across different business divisions, which could include the opportunity to tackle different challenges and learn new skills in another African office. The divisions you may experience include: Financial Accounting; Personal and Business Banking; Structured Finance; Project Finance; Corporate Finance; Tax; Internal Audit; Property Finance; Debt Capital Markets; Emerging Markets Financial Accounting; Credit; and Portfolio Investments.
You’ll need to be a postgraduate student who will complete your SAICA accredited Certificate in the Theory of Accounting (CTA), or SAICA accredited equivalent, this year. With a desire to become a commercially focused chartered accountant, you’ll have a strong interest in financial reporting, tax, audit and both corporate and investment banking, and personal and business banking.
