Household name in the gaming and entertainment industry seeks a qualified Chartered Accountant (SA) to join their dynamic and close-knit finance team based at Head Office in Johannesburg Central.

 

Job & Company Description:

In this role you will work as 2IC for the Financial Director and take responsibility for management of the finance team for group.

Duties Include:

• Management of finance team
• Liaising with regional managers on finance matters
• Processing monthly journals
• Fixed Asset Register
• Cashbook
• Implement, monitor and review processes and procedures
• Ensure monthly site stock takes are done
• Accounts receivable and accounts payable
• Budgeting and forecasting
• Annual audits, financial statements and results
• Payroll management
• Banking and cash management
• SARS and statutory reporting
• Lease and guarantees
• Management of office and site IT requirements
• Assist with roll-out of projects
• Health and safety

Education:

• Qualified CA(SA) essential

Job Experience & Skills Required:

• Completed SAICA articles
• 2 to 3 years’ post article experience within a financial management position
• Advanced MS Excel skills essential
• Strong management skills, with experience managing a large staff component on a direct and indirect level
• Strong understanding of financial business processes
• Own reliable transport essential
• Meticulous attention to detail
• Deadline driven
