REQUIREMENTS : Degree/Diploma in Nursing or equivalent qualification that allows registration with the SANC as a professional Nurse. Post Basic qualification with duration of at least 1 year in Primary Health Care accredited with the SANC .Registration with SANC as a Professional Nurse and current SANC receipt.

 

A minimum of four (04) years appropriate/recognizable nursing experience after registration as Professional Nurse with the SANC in General Nursing. Valid drivers license, Knowledge Skills, Training And Compitencies Required: Report writing Abilities. Good Communication and Presenting Skills Depth understanding of Nursing Legislation and Related Legal and Ethical nursing practices.

Promote Quality of Nursing care directed by the professional scope of practice and standard as determined by relevant Health Facility. Good Mentoring and Support Skills

 

DUTIES : Conduct skills audits for the different Programmes in the institutions. Manage and coordinate training activities for the each institutions and PHC component. Identify training needs and provide training.

 

 

Develop and implement annual training plan or each institutions as per identified needs. Support the district in the collection, collation and submission of quality training for the each institution. Monitor and evaluate all training taking place in the each institution and Facilities.

Liaise with Partners assisting Zululand regarding training needs and financial support. Support institution’s programme coordinators in implementing their training plans.
