The main purpose of this office baced role will be to provide technical support to maintain the organizations computer systems, both hardware and software and other peripheral equipment to ensure optimal performance so that end users can maintain a high level of productivity.

 

 

 

 

 

Title: SENIOR IT TECHNICIAN

Job Summary:
Duties & Responsibilities:
Duties will include but not limited to:

Provide 1st line technical assistance with computer hardware and software
Resolve issues for staff via phone as well as TeamViewer
Perform hardware and software installations, configurations and updates when required
Maintain local Active Directory and DNS
Management and support of the IT infrastructure, Servers, Desktops and Laptops
Setting up and maintaining the companies Firewalls, network switches and wifi AP’s
System administration to all CRM systems.
Be able to setup and maintan VPN connections.
Maintain and configure Farsouth PABX systems.
Fast learner and efficient worker.

Desired Experience & Qualification:
Candidates who meet the following requirements are welcome to apply:
Suitably qualified in a relevant IT field (Degree/Diploma)
Currently residing in the Kwa-Zulu-Natal – Durban (essential)
A minimum of 2 years in a similar role
Excellent people skills
Detailed knowledge of networking topologies and technologies, including appliances such as firewalls(Mikrotik Firewalls), routers, switches and load balancers.

Knowledge of Pastel Software (essential)

Knowledge of Odoo Software (an added advantage)
