The DA wishes to appoint a dynamic, self-motivated and goal driven individual, who will be based at our Federal Head Office in Cape Town. The successful candidate will report to the Senior Digital Marketing Specialist.
The successful candidate will be responsible for:
- Managing social media inboxes and comment threads on all social media channels used by the Party to ensure that the Party is responsive to voters’ questions, comments and queries
- Working with the Senior Digital Marketing Specialist in ensuring that the Party’s messaging is successfully communicated on social media channels to the appropriate audiences
- Assisting with implementing the Party’s social media strategy
Prospective applicants must meet the following requirements:
- National Senior Certificate or equivalent
- Relevant experience working in a marketing or social media-related environment
- Knowledge of social media platforms i.e., Twitter, Facebook, Instagram, YouTube, LinkedIn & Tik Tok advantageous
- Excellent computer skills (Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Zoom)
- Excellent communication and writing skills
- Excellent time management skills
- Excellent administrative and organisational abilities
- Must be a team player
- Systematic, comprehensive, and displaying excellent attention to detail
- Ability to work independently, effectively, and energetically around a demanding work schedule
- Commitment to the principles, policies, and programme of action of the DA
