Job Title: Manager – Cyber Security and IT Audit

BDO South Africa has a vacancy for a Manager within the BDO Technology Advisory business unit. The incumbent will be reporting to the Head of Advisory and will be based in Johannesburg.

Job Summary:
The primary purpose of the role is: Daily Management of Integrated Technology Advisory Services department, Grow the Fee Base, Control WIP and Manage Debtors

Key Performance Areas:
•Assists with the development of the divisional strategy and implements
•Business development
•Managing Client Relationships
•Planning of Audit Projects
•Managing the resources and the WIP
•Manage the day-to-day activities of any assignment (from execution to reporting)
•Budget definition, preparation and monitoring
•Management of the Quality Assurance role, particularly the technical aspects of both Cyber Security and IT Audit Methodology
•Management and development of internal staff
•BCom Accounting Sciences, Informatics, Computer Science or equivalent degree.
•CISA (Certified Information Systems Auditor) or
•Certified Ethical Hacker or
•CSX certified or
•CISM (Certified Information Security Manager)

•5 years’ experience in the IT Audit field, minimum 2-3 years supervisor level experience
•Good English language communication skills, both verbal and written (including excellent report writing skills).
•Experience in consulting, selling and marketing (including proposals and professional presentations).
•Sound private and public sector experience
•Knowledge of IT interrogation tools
•Understanding and practical experience in application system controls and general computer controls reviews.

•Self-starter – and initiative
•Professional and integrity at all times
•Ability to apply own mind and to deviate from the norm, if required
