SARS seeks to enrol qualified Chartered Accountants in the Finance Division (Financial and Management Accounting):
Finance Division is there to ensure that SARS conducts its financial affairs on the expenditure accounting, revenue accounting and management accounting fronts in line with all statutory requirements, such as the PFMA, and Treasury regulations and that due diligence is exercised. The division also provides financial expertise and direction in alignment with overall business strategies by an agile finance organisation.

The CA programme of SARS is a 36 months programme (fixed term) where you will be introduced to a broad spectrum of learning experience while developing generalist and specialist fields.
At the end of the development programme, trainees who successfully meet SARS’s recruitment requirements will be considered permanent appointment.

Minimum Requirements:
Matric Certificate
BCom Honours in Accounting with Certificate of Accounting Theory
South African Citizens
Currently not participating in Graduate programme/Learnership
An academic average mark of 60% +
