Position Overview:

  • Drive Non-Alcoholic category growth across all channels using Shopper Driven Category Management
  • This will be achieved by leading and managing a team of individuals who are subject matter experts in respective fields
  • The foremost duty is to add value to TCCC customers and strengthen our relationship with them by providing this service

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

1. Aligning Company & Bottler Category Strategies by channel / customer
Working with Bottler account managers to calibrate processes to speak with a National voice for key accounts

2. Leading quarterly joint category reviews for key customers;
TEG, PFM focused

3. Allocating category management resources for bottler partners to drive growth and defend share
Management of shared network between CCSA & Bottlers
Software, training and support for all bottlers (i.e. ABI, Pen Bev, Fortune & Shanduka)
Field based associates to support Pen Bev and Fortune, with emphasis on TEG & PFM

4. Managing Customer business review process
Based on benchmarking measures of success / inhibitors to growth includes delivering business solutions and measuring how performance has changed from previous quarter
Focus on opportunities particularly around Pricing, Availability and Growth Drivers within the category

5. Delivering Bottler Franchise Business Solutions
Creating bottler reports, by customer, to identify where our system needs to focus: availability, forward share, pricing and ranging.

 

FINANCIAL/ JOB SCOPE

  • An annual budget will be motivated for and provide
  • The budget will be used to manage contractors, projects etc

SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES
4 direct reports: Contracted to the company and working 5 days a week, 8 hours a day.
–  Involvement includes recruiting, coordination of work assignments, direct supervision, conducting performance reviews, terminations.
–  Leading, managing and communicating project team and stakeholders (both internal & external)

5-7 years of experience combining Consumer Marketing, Trade Marketing, Account Management, Category Planning and Management

Education

Bachelor’s degree
Proven knowledge and experience in sales, marketing, category and customer management
