Vacancy Details

A Well-Known company within the engineering consultancy industry is looking for a Systems Specialist that will be responsible for the administration of the OneStream system in which the group consolidation is performed in respect of the actual, forecast and budgets as well as supporting current and future enhancements to ensure accurate reporting and effective utilization of the system

Qualifications:

• BCom qualification
• Minimum 4 to 6 years’ relevant experience
• Business experience within a finance environment related to consolidations and financial disclosure requirements.
• Proven track record of implementing financial consolidation systems, ideally OneStream.
• Skilled user and understanding of dimensions, rules and the functionality of OneStream.
• Experience with a consolidation/reporting system.
• Experience of leading business change projects and project management.
• Hyperion Financial Management experience.
• Advanced computer skills, especially Excel and PowerPoint

Responsibilities: 

• Maintain system applications across all active environments (Production and Development).
• Manage integrations and ensure source data flows upstream as required.
• Perform data reconciliation and maintain data integrity of what is being loaded into the system.
• Develop various custom reports as needed by the Finance and Executive team.
• Perform monthly and daily maintenance of OneStream (including scheduling and performing application updates).
• Develop and maintain key processes to support the consolidation and financial reporting.
• Conduct end-user training and provide updates on any upgrades on the system.
• Lead special and regular projects, which includes project planning and scheduling, such as application upgrades, new applications etc. Ensuring adherence to those project plans and deliverables.
• Maintain governance around the system applications in respect of access and change management.
• Suggest improvements on existing applications.
• Maintain relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
