Job Title: ASSISTANT ESTIMATOR

Job Summary:
Oversee work progress, complete logs, and provide an update on divisional performance regularly to supervisors
Reviews project documents and establish lists of returnable requirements
Helps Fraser Alexander in winning bids so that the work can be increased, and the organisation might make huge profits
Reviewing the data and standard Tender documents requirements and keep company project lists up to date
Ensure that Certification dates to be valid
Responsible for keeping tender database up to date with all relevant tender information
Responsible for filling tender documents after submissions
Finding tenders through various Tender identification processes
Conduct Tender Success Analysis (Year to date Programme)
Prepare quality tender submissions / presentations by deadline and manage tender deliveries to clients
Compile and submit tender Pre-qualifications
Compile and submit tender Expressions of Interest
Compile and keep up to date Tender Brag Sheets / Projects Sheets
Compilation of Risk Documents with assistance from Line manager
Compilation of SHEQ packs for tender submissions, including STATS supplied by SHEQ Department
Apply and keep Vendor registrations up to date
Keeping track of the Project Pipeline
General Ad hoc administration duties as and when required by the Line Manager
Requirements:
QUALIFICATIONS:
Matric/Grade 12
Office Management certificate Advantageous
EXPERIENCE:
Previous work experience of at least 5 years in Construction/Mining
Office Management will be an added advantage
BOQ on CCS & WinQS and Excel
SKILLS, QUALITIES AND ABILITIES:
Should be excellent in customer service skills and how to build sound customer relations
Should have good communication skills
Should have excellent communication skills to ensure effective communication with others
Should be able to work under constant pressure and meet deadlines
Should be computer literate and have knowledge on electronic equipment used in construction, i.e. Processors, circuit boards, hardware, software, etc.
