The candidate will be responsible for Sales of Hardware and SW Maintenance services for the East Coast of South Africa, across all Sectors.
The candidate will actively interlock with the Maintenance and Technical Support Sales, Offerings and Delivery teams to ensure we are able to effectively support our growth
Be able to draw up and track contracts, follow Work Direct, and ensure each step of the contract process is completed in time. Have the ability to work in an automated and non-automated environment.
Have the ability to contact our maintenance customers to perform courtesy calls. This requires a deep understanding of our contract methodology as well as our Offerings portfolio.
The candidate will be expected to provide reports and feedback pro-actively.
A good knowledge and understanding of IBM and particularly Maintenance and Technical Support process and procedures, systems, organization and goals; be able to work effectively with people from different backgrounds; be able to converse with upper management; a strong drive to achieve and ability to take ownership; the ability to think horizontally and collaboratively influence his environment.; excellent verbal and written communication skills; excellent administration skills; the ability to improve and / or draw up processes; be able to follow up on every step of the contract management process pro-actively.
At least 2 years experience in Sales
