HISP – Health Information Systems Programme South Africa develops and implements sustainable and integrated Health Information Systems that empower communities, healthcare workers and decision makers to improve the coverage, quality and efficiency of health services.

Job Title: Systems Administrator
Job Location: Pretoria, South Africa
Duration: One year fixed term contract

Salary: Post grade C2 with annual base R 295 724 to R 443 585 if full compliance to job requirements. Benefits include pension and medical aid and contributions, 21 days’ annual leave

Responsibilities:

• Assist with server hardware and software maintenance, monitoring of correct functioning of servers
• ICT Asset management and maintenance, technical support to production applications and end-user support
• Assist with software development, training and induction, and materials development
• Assist and support software developers with the enhancement and maintenance of internal
  systems

Requirements:

• Matric with related IT Certification e.g. A+, N+, MCSA, PC Engineering and Server Maintenance
• Minimum of five years’ systems administration or systems related certification course such as Novel Admin, Windows Administrator, Linux Administrator
• Valid driver’s license
• Willingness and ability to travel extensively within South Africa
