Context:

The Hollard Internal Communications team is responsible for the sharing and exchange of information within the Hollard environment. In collaboration with HR the team works at creating an environment within which Hollardites can grow and thrive.

We are looking for an energetic, driven individual to lead the Internal Communications team.

Customers:

  • Hollardites locally and internationally
  • Leaders of BU’s and CSU’s locally and internationally

Outputs:

  • Develop and drive the internal communications strategy
  • Lead the internal communications team
  • Initiate, develop and maintain appropriate communication tools for various target groups
  • Client management: build and maintain relationships with all stakeholders
  • Pro-actively addressing clients needs, ensuring effect response rate to requests and requirements
  • Managing budgets
  • Aligning Hollard brand internally
  • Contributing to a climate where Hollard is a preferred employer
  • Continuous improvement in the internal communications process
  • Managing external suppliers
  • Understand global best practise and keep Hollard ahead of the game.

Competencies:

  • Qualifications / Work Experience:
  • Degree and/or extensive experience in communication and people management
  • Computer literacy – MS office,
  • Adobe Indesign and Photoshop would be an advantage

Knowlegde:

Knowledge of the insurance industry – short term and life.

Skills:

Strong planning and organising skills
