JPS Africa is a non-profit organization with the goal of increasing access to high quality HIV and AIDS prevention services in South Africa. In collaboration with our partners, they empower health professionals and communities they serve to build and maintain quality healthcare services in low resource settings.

JPS Africa is looking to fill the following contract position. The positions is based at the JPS Africa offices in Pretoria.

Job Title: Project Manager
Location: Pretoria

The position will be to provide Technical Assistance and training to VMMC clinical/non-clinical teams in JPS Africa supported districts and in collaboration with facility management. The ideal candidate should be an experienced and suitably qualified professional registered with the relevant professional body.

Requirements: 

• Qualification in Public Health (MPH),
• Project Management and Advanced M&E.
• Experience leading a DG VMMC team.
• Experience in R&R, CQI and DG training.

Responsibilities: 

• The PM is responsible for aligning the RT35 project to the NDOH DG Campaign to ensure effective scale-up of VMMC services in JPSA supported districts.
• Monitor, review and timeous and accurate reporting and capturing of data on DHIS.
• Ensure effective monitoring of AEs and men’s health indicators in all supported districts.
• Document best practices and lessons learnt.
• Collective management of and data quality management.
• Delivery of high quality of training in specific areas.
• Coordination and guidance of independent contractors/implementing partners.
• Ensuring IPC system is in place and adherence to at all times in JPSA operational sites.
• Support the projects’ efforts to deliver an integrated program that includes HTS, screening for STI’s, RH etc.
