Koelfontein is an established farming enterprise that produces top quality fresh and dried fruit, as well as wine.
At Source focuses on the development, final processing, packaging and marketing of dried fruit, nuts and related specialty products for South African and International retail.

Purpose of Position: to provide IT support to all offices and IT users within the Conradie Group.

 

 

 

 

 

Job Title: GROUP IT SUPPORT TECHNICIAN
Location: Ceres

Job Summary:
Duties & Responsibilities:
OUTLINES OF KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

Ensure that assigned infrastructure at sites are configured, installed, tested and operational
Perform necessary checks, apply monitoring tools and respond to alerts
Report and escalate issues to 3rd party vendors if necessary
Providing Internal IT Support for desktops, printers, servers and laptops
Ensure that server backups and integrity checks are completed
Technical maintenance and support for all websites
Research, design, plan, document and implement upgrades or changes to ICT infrastructure and services
Ensure all Wi-Fi (Wireless) systems are operational
Administration of assets by updating the hardware and software asset register
Maintenance of the information technology storeroom, server room and office by keeping it neat and tidy and free of any health and safety risks
Perform proactive monitoring and preventative maintenance tasks for on-site servers and networking equipment.
Support and maintain all security (CCTV) infrastructure
Maintain all cyber security infrastructure

QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:

Matric Certificate
Diploma/Degree in Information Technology/ Information Systems will be advantageous
2-3 Year IT Support experience
Minimum Certifications: Microsoft 365, A+, N+, MS Server 2019
Good understanding of IT security, website hosting, data protection, desktop hardware, networking hardware, fire walls, basic server management, VOIP systems and windows domain administration.
Experience working with third party providers
Drivers License and Own Transport
