Vacancy Details

My client is seeking a talented and experienced Process Engineer with a Bachelor’s degree in Chemical Engineering and expertise in Mineral Processing practices. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in optimizing the mineral extraction processes, driving efficiency, and maintaining high standards of quality and sustainability.

 

Responsibilities:

• Design, implement, and optimize mineral processing systems to maximize efficiency and output.
• Conduct process simulations, feasibility studies, and analyses to identify areas for improvement and optimization.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including operations, research and development, and management to develop and implement process improvements.
• Monitor and analyze process performance data, troubleshoot issues, and implement corrective actions as necessary.
• Ensure compliance with safety, environmental, and regulatory standards in all aspects of process design and operation.
• Provide technical support and expertise to operational teams, assisting with troubleshooting and optimization efforts.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Chemical Engineering or related field; advanced degree preferred.
• Minimum of 5+ of experience in mineral processing, preferably in a manufacturing or mining environment.
• Strong understanding of mineral processing principles, practices, and technologies.
• Proficiency in process simulation software and other relevant engineering tools.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with a meticulous attention to detail.
• Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a cross-functional team.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to convey technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
• Commitment to safety, environmental stewardship, and continuous improvement.
