A one-year work-integrated learning opportunity is available at our Kirstenbosch National Botanical Garden from 1 December 2014 – 30 November 2015. The student will gain hands on experience in nature conservation and have the opportunity to work with specialists in the field.
The programme includes exposure in the following estate functions: guided tours, surveys, patrols, data collection, research, the management plan for the estate as well as the Kirstenbosch Biodiversity database.
Qualification
National Diploma in Nature Conservation
Requirements
Application Form;
CV;
Letter of interest;
Goals while training at SANBI;
Letter of recommendation from lecturers or supervisors; and
Certified copy of your results.
