To conduct thorough data analysis, design and implement analytics programs, generate reports, and collaborate with various teams to ensure optimization of Fund resources with the end goal of minimising operational costs. This role will be responsible for providing actuarial support to the organisation.

Specification
•Ensure timeous and accurate settlement of Loss of support and Loss of earnings claims.
•Compile and prepare data for purposes of the Funds’ actuarial valuation.
•Assist in developing, analysing and modifying processes, data structures, and financial models
•Conduct or coordinate tests to ensure that intelligence is consistent with defined needs (as will be aligned to the business
operations and requirements of the business but will specifically relate to case & claims management)
•Provide technical support for existing reports, dashboards, or other tools as will be aligned to the business operations and
requirements of the business
•Make data-driven decisions and recommendations designed to improve operational efficiency, business sustainability or product
development in support of the business strategy as will be applicable from time to time
•Compile statistical data and other information for further analysis
•Estimate the probability and likely economic cost of an event such as death, sickness, an accident, or a natural disaster
•Design, test, and administer various policies, investments and other business strategies to minimize risk and maximize
profitability
•Produce charts, tables, and reports that explain calculations and proposals
•Explain their findings and proposals to the Fund Management
Requirements
• Degree in Actuarial Science, Statistics, Mathematics, Analytics or equivalent
• Understanding of the insurance business, market and external environment
• Demonstrated high level of analytic and problem-solving skills, good communications skills, solid computer skills and a team player
