One of the oldest farms in the Cape Winelands is looking to employ a Creative Director who can lead a team of talented content creators, photographers, designers, social media, copywriters and PR

DUTIES:

Team Management

• Lead a team of talented content creators, including photographers, designers, social media, copywriters and PR
• Foster and environment where team members can collaborate successfully and feel comfortable sharing ideas

Brand Leadership

• Liaise with marketing, customer relations, sales representative and other departments to ensure consistency in brand messaging
• Supervise writers and proofreaders to ensure content is created in line with company’s style, guide and voice
• Update and maintain style guides

Creative Input

• Work with the e-commerce marketing team, as well as content creators and stylist to plan campaigns around launches and key dates
• Provide inspiration for the team in creative sessions
• Create and lead campaigns
• Lead the design team

Social Media

• Oversee implementation of social media strategy
• Support social media managers to grow social media channels whilst keeping content on brand

Website and App maintenance

• Ensure the website and app are up to date and reflect brand identity

REQUIREMENTS:

• Relevant tertiary qualification
• Fluent in English and Afrikaans
• Exceptional leadership and people management skills
• Able to lead diverse teams
• Experience in design and concept development with a keen eye for aesthetics
• Awareness and interest in current international trends
• Excellent communicator with strong written and verbal communication skills
• Digitally competent with an understanding of web design and practices
• Social Media management experience
• Flexible, able to quickly change priorities and adapt to fast-changing environment
• Detail orientated
• Team player attitude
