Are you currently studying towards your Draughtsman qualification or recently completed your qualification, have experience in Auto CAD, and are now looking for a step into the business world? Excellent opportunity to use your Auto CAD and Draughtsman studies for you to gain experience as a Draughtsman to join our clients team based in Montague Gardens.

 

REQUIREMENTS:

• Matric
• Experience with Auto CAD
• Problem solving, trouble shooting, investigation and using initiative to make informed decisions on behalf of management
• Accuracy and attention to detail to assist with designs and compile reports
• Deadline and goal driven
• Excellent Communication, verbal and non-verbal as well as listening skills to understand complex instructions and to convey highly technical information to audiences of all levels
• Work well in a team
• Excellent at multi-tasking

DUTIES:

• Take responsibility for technical drawing requirements of the company
• Do first design drawings, with the guidance of designers and management
• Liaise directly with clients and/or their agent responsible for drawings (e.g. architects or draughtsman)
• After liaising with client update or complete drawings
• Participate in Production meetings, when required, and to make recommendations to improve work flow processes

Salary:    Entry level salary for a junior
