Vacancy Details

A Wine Farm in the beautiful Franschhoek valley seeks to employ an honest, hardworking individual in the position of a Document Controller.

Health & safety exposure is highly advantageous.

 

Responsibilities / Duties include:

Systems & Audits

Applicable to: ISO14001, HACCP, SANS 1841, OHS, Global GAP, SMETA, HR policies, IPW, DOL; Supplier audits. Hereafter only referred to as systems and audits.

• Assist with document control for systems and audits
• Audit scheduling, both external and internal – acts as internal auditor
• Follow up on CAN’s (corrective action notifications)
• Provide assistance with new procedures and work instructions
• Assist with updating procedures and policies according to legal register
• Assist with meeting minutes – OHS
• Electronic and hard copy filing

 

Requirements:

• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills (English & Afrikaans)
• 2-3 years’ experience within systems / document control environment
• Strong organization skills
• Work well under pressure
• Computer Literate – Microsoft Office – (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
• Must have own transport and be willing to travel to outside farms
• Grade 12 with Office Administration / similar certificate or diploma
