1. ADMINISTRATIVE OFFICER REF NO: 15/79/CLO
SALARY : R227 802– R268 338 per annum. The successful candidate will be required to
sign a performance agreement.
CENTRE : Office Of The Chief Litigation Officer, Pretoria
REQUIREMENTS : Bachelor Degree in Administration, Law or Commerce/National Diploma in Office
Management or Administration or equivalent qualification; At least 5 years
administration experience; Knowledge of the Public Finance Management Act,
DFI, Treasury Regulations; Knowledge of Justice Yellow Pages (JYP) and BAS
(at least 1 year experience). skills and competencies: Computer literacy (MS
Office); Good interpersonal skills; Good communication (verbal and written)
skills; Good organizational skills; Able to work under pressure, independently
and willingness to work irregular hours; Creative an analytical thinking.
DUTIES : Key Performance Areas: Render administrative support pertaining to legal
matters as directed by supervisor; Implement and maintain a filing system;
Perform task related to acquisition and procurement of stores and equipment;
Verification of assets and control for the Directorate; Develop, collect and
administer data on the databases of the Directorate; Compile statistics for the
Directorate; Render telephonic services and liaise with the public; Co-ordinate
travel and accommodation, arranging meetings and events for the office and
taking minutes; Supervise administrative staff; Perform any other administrative
functions assigned from time to time;

2. ADMINISTRATIVE OFFICER REF NO: 15/78/SA
SALARY : R227 802 – R268 338 per annum. The successful candidate will be required to
sign a performance agreement.
CENTRE : State Attorney: Durban
REQUIREMENTS : Bachelor’s Degree in Administration/National Diploma in Office Management or
Administration or equivalent qualification; At least 2 years administration
experience; Knowledge of the Public Finance Management Act, DFI and
Treasury Regulations; Knowledge of Justice Yellow Pages (JYP) and BAS will
be an advantage; A valid driver’s license. skills and competencies: Computer
literacy (MS Office); Interpersonal skills; Communication (verbal and written)
skills; Interpersonal skills; Organizational skills; Able to work under pressure,
independently and willingness to work extra hours; Creative and analytical
thinking.
DUTIES : Key Performance Areas: Coordinate and execute administrative processes,
transport, operators and messengers in the office of the State Attorney; Draft
and submit memorandum and reports; General supervision of administrative
staff and implement formal and informal disciplinary matters; Compile and analyze statistics to show performance and trends; Manage accommodation,
asset, stock control and assist with budget; Provide effective people
management; Monitor accounts, archive and library services management;
Perform miscellaneous job related duties as assigned; Effective implementation
of HR policies, systems and processes.
