ArcelorMittal South Africa is offering opportunities for Grade 12 learners to be trained as Process Operators at its Saldanha Works.
Successful candidates will enter a 40 week production training contract, focusing on the iron and steel manufacturing process (Metals Production Learnership).
The training programme is based on a structured outcome-based approach which includes institutional and on the job training. Regular assessments and progress monitoring will form an integral part of the learnership programme.
Job Requirements
Applicants must have a Grade 12 certificate with Maths at 40% or Maths Literacy at 50%. Previous exposure to heavy industry will be an added advantage. The successful applicants will join a dynamic young team of results-orientated people.
Short-listed candidates are expected to report for a selection process and a medical evaluation.
