Job Description

SERVICE DELIVERY

  • Delight the client
  • Develop a complete understanding of the client’s objectives
  • Translate client objective into value added service delivery
  • Provide continuous feedback to clients
  • Evaluate evidence against prevailing legal norms and standards
  • Adhere to professional code of ethics and D&T standards in delivery to the client
  • Promote inventive solutions
  • Take responsibility for the product delivered to partner for review
  • Design effective method of communicating evidence, results and recommendations to the client

WINNING AND RETAINING BUSINESS

  • Networking to introduce new clients (both internal and external)
  • Maintaining close relationships with Managers of other business units
  • Establish and develop executive trust relationships with clients to secure recurring work
  • Promote cross selling
  • Active involvement in presentations to clients/conferences/workshops
  • Support professional associations within the forensics environment to profile expertise
  • Formalize personal targets

RESOURCING (Ensure that the job is adequately resourced and manage these efficiently at all times)

  • Identifying optimal resources for the assignment in terms of skills and technical ability
  • Ensure high staff utilization and productivity
  • Promote national utilization of resources and transferability of skills base
  • Provide effective on-the-job training
  • Provide mentorship
  • Complete performance evaluations for junior staff members on a regular basis as specified

ASSIGNMENT/PROJECT ADMINISTRATION AND MANAGEMENT

  • Maintain AS2 master file
  • Determine the investigation approach
  • Take responsibility for the risk assessment
  • Prepare letter of engagement to standard
  • Maintain acceptable levels of fee recovery
  • Manage WIP effectively
  • Manage billings
  • Fee collection
  • Take responsibility for own utilization
  • Manage all administration related matters on the assignment/project
  • Take responsibility for assignment risk management by adherence to standard operating procedures with regard to
  • Client risk assessment and documentation
  • Limitation of liability
  • File retention and back-up
  • Independence clauses

  • LLB / B.Proc / B. Luris with Articles
  • Or
  • Matric with a minimum of 5 years experience gained in a forensics environment
  • Relevant degree/diploma in Forensic Investigations would be highly advantageous
  • An Accounting related degree or diploma would be highly advantageous

Travel

  • Must be in possession of a valid drivers license and own vehicle.
  • Must be able to travel as required at short notice, both nationally and internationally.
