Main purpose of the job:-
This position is the first step on the managerial rung:
- Manage the day to day relationships with clients
- Work in association with your Account Director to manage a team of researchers this includes
- Taking responsibility to manage the day to day work allocation within your team
- Play an active role in developing line reports, including training, mentoring and coaching them where necessary.
- Manage the research process for your clients’ projects

Key responsibilities
- Manage the process of:
- Design of questionnaires and samples
- Preparation of all material for fieldwork/briefing fieldwork
- Data and coding/checking and specking
- Presentation preparation
- Provide leadership and clear direction to team
- Presenting results to client
- Analyzing data, drawing recommendations and presenting
- Quality control and ensuring deadlines are met
- Monitoring costs on projects
- Costing projects
- Proposal writing and project design
- Managing and developing your direct line reports
- Continuing to broaden research skill base
- Contribute towards Millward Brown learning
- Assist in achieving team budget revenue target for the upcoming year

Minimum Qualifications/Work Experience
Minimum qualifications:
o3 year degree, preferably in Research, marketing, business, economic, social sciences, media,
Previous experience of:
- At least 5 year’s relevant experience in a research agency, Client Company, management, marketing consultancy, media agency or other relevant fields.
- A passion for brands and advertising is a must, a curiosity as to understand consumer thinking and opinion and a desire to advise clients how to improve their brands performance in the market place. Client facing role essential.
- Regularly presenting to clients
- Managing all stages of projects from brief to presentation
At least one year’s experience managing a small team/line reports
Technical Competencies required:
- PC literacy in Word, Excel, PowerPoint
- Excellent English writing and verbal skills
- Excellent presentation skills
- Experience in strategic planning, project management, research, brand planning, marketing or research.
- Ability to manage a project from briefing (understanding client needs), implementation (understanding the necessary research process), data analysis and insight (getting to the answers), presentation production and reporting.
- An understanding of efficient team processes would be an advantage
