This position is targeting African, Coloured and Indian candidates
CONTEXT:
(External and internal factors which influence the work environment, taking future conditions and strategic requirements into account)
•Commercezone is a division of Multichoice within the Naspers Group. An integration developer is required in the Engineering Department.
•Support for the current Commerce One platform is required as well as future systems involving SAP and Oracle Technologies.

-Current Engineering team – Platform and Integration

OUTPUTS:
(Products, services, programs and information which the individual must provide to external individuals or groups, or one another to accomplish the organisation’s mission and strategy)

•Development and maintenance of the current integration platform
•Design and Development of the new SAP system which serves as the replacement for the current Commerce One platform.
•Software Architecture/Design related documentation
•Trouble shoot, design and implement fixes as well as new functionality, maintenance, build management and unit testing
COMPETENCIES:
(Personal capabilities, which are critical to the production of quality outputs)

Functional
•Minimum of 5 years experience in software design/development, with at least 2-3 years using the SAP Programming Interface (PI)
•Experience in latest SAP technologies
•Knowledge in Message Queuing a plus.
•Knowledge of SQL a must. Previous experience in Oracle and SQL Server preferred.
•Strong knowledge of the software development process.
•Application/System architecture design and documentation
•Software debugging/troubleshooting
•Software Build management
•Coordinating development with 3rd parties
