OUTPUTS:
(Products, services, programs and information which the individual must provide to both the internal and external customers, to accomplish the organisation’s mission and strategy)

• Ensure world-class service levels for all Terrestrial Operation broadcast services.
• Optimized resource utilization (bandwidth, equipment, staff, operational costs )
• Ensure effective implementation of new services and software/hardware on various Broadcast platforms.
• Ensure sophisticated monitoring and quality control procedures
• Established and maintained operational recovery processes within Terrestrial Operations
• Established and maintained Disaster Recovery platform where applicable
• Compiled, controlled and monitored budget for Terrestrial Operations
• Effective communication up & down
• Overall responsibility and ownership and rapid resolution of Terrestrial Operations service/platform issues.
• Established and implemented and maintained operational processes to achieve optimum service levels:
o Terrestrial Infrastructure operations (Digital and Analogue)
o Analogue Encryption Platform
o Command Centre monitoring tools
o CRR receive and routing infrastructure
• Managed Terrestrial Operations related projects
• Managed Africa Based infrastructure
• Contracts management with service providers
• Adopted Best Practices in Technical Operations to achieve:
o Managed product monitoring (uptime, down time)
o Change control and problem solving processes
o Database management (event and fault logging)
o Streamlined processes and operational efficiency and cost effective delivery
o Standard Operating Procedures
• Established and maintained recovery processes
• Management Reports
• Ensure Corporate Governance process are followed
• Management of BBBEE profiling relevant to Terrestrial Operations
