Purpose of the role To sell radio airtime on behalf of the Brands within the clients portfolio

Key Responsibilities

· Meet and exceed sales revenue budgets
· Retain and grow revenue on a designated portfolio of advertising clients and agencies

· Actively seek out and cultivate new business opportunities

· Actively develop and deepen industry relationships

· Initiate, develop and present relevant opportunities to the advertising agency and advertiser

· Actively engage all available datapoints/touchpoints/information platforms to ensure solutions and market conversations remain relevant and impactful

· Efficient management of the sales process


· University degree/Diploma preferred

· Valid driver’s license and own motor vehicle


· Experience in media/agency sales (preferably 3-4 years)

· Proven track record of sales performance and achievement of revenue targets

· Excellent presentation skills

· Thorough understanding of the marketing process

MS Office competencies

· MS Word, MS PowerPoint, MS Excel, MS Outlook

Personal attributes

· Excellent communication skills – written, verbal and telephonic (English and Afrikaans)

· Strong interpersonal skills and team player

· Ability to work under pressure and high stress tolerance level

· Effective relationship builder and keen networker
