ADMINISTRATION CLERK 9 POSTS REF NO: 07536 Directorate: Patient Administration
SALARY : R 132 399.00 per annum (plus benefits)
CENTRE : Dr. George Mukhari Academic Hospital REQUIREMENTS : Grade 12/Matric Certificate or equivalent qualification. Six(6) months intern/in-service training experience in patient Administration. Basic computer literacy and well number orientated. Rotate to other sections of Patient Administration Be able to work under pressure. Good interpersonal and communication skills. Must be in good health and able to do physical hard work. Must be able to function well in team.
DUTIES : Daily registration and admission of patients in MEDICOM system/OPD Register, GPF3, etc. Daily patient visit registration. Correct completion of Forms GPF4 and 5. Daily booking of patient and tracing of missing patient’s files. Correct capturing and completion of downtime register and downtime tools.
‘Discharging of patients files from MEDICOM System to Medical Records/ Discharge office. Internal transfers of patient through MEDICOM System. Capturing of inpatients on TPH.21. Tracking and checking movement’s history of patients on the MEDICOM system. Efficient handling of patient on the MEDICOM System.
Efficient handling of queries. Ordering of stock as instructed by your supervisor. Regular removal of inactive patient files and around. Performing other tasks as allocated by the supervisor.
