Directorate: Patient Administration
SALARY : R123 738.00 per annum (plus benefits)
CENTRE : Dr George Mukhari Academic Hospital

 

REQUIREMENTS : Grade 12 / Matric Certificate or equivalent qualification. 1 or more years experience in
hospital \ clinic environment (Patient Administration). Basic computer literacy. Good written
and verbal communication and interpersonal skills. To have knowledge of customer care and
Batho Pele Principles. Be able to work independently and under pressure. Knowledge of
Patients records filling systems. Must be prepared to relieve and rotate to other sections of
Patient Administration. Must be prepared to work shifts.

 

DUTIES : Performing patient administration duties in all sections of patient activities manually and on
MEDICOM system: Patient registration on PAAB. Patient classification according to UPFS
system. Updating and controlling file information of patients. Reconciliation of patient
statistics. Filling and Proper record keeping, Track and Trace of patient files. Patient bookings
and efficient handling of enquiries. Other tasks as allocated by supervisor or team leader.
