Job Title: Administration Clerk
Job Location: Mohlakeng Clinic, Randfontein
Reporting to: the Facility Manager

Duties and Responsibilities:
Responsibilities will include, but not limited to the following

  • Admission of patients, proper records management systems, management of queues.
  • Recording of patients waiting times and proper direction of patients.
  • Ordering and safe keeping of stationery.
  • Monitoring and recording of facility assets
  • Capture information electronically and manually.
  • File documents properly.
  • Retrieve files as per request.
  • Coordinate logistical arrangements for meetings and functions.
  • Make copies and fax.
  • Render auxiliary services to supervisory and professional personnel.
  • Do receptionist functions.
  • Updating of patients information and files.

Data management

  • Capture information in the ETR.net software at sub district level.
  • Data validation, verification, analysis
  • Adherence to the DMIS policy to strengthen data management in the sub district
  • Dispatch of ETR.net data to the district.
  • Validate, verify and analyse data prior to submission to the next level.

Qualifications, experience and key competencies required:

  • Grade 12 or equivalent qualifications
  • Computer literacy certificate
  • Good communication skills
  • Ability to analyse statistics
  • Ability to work under pressure
  • Minimum of two years Administration experience in the Public service.
