Our client specializes in cutting-edge design and manufacturing of winders, winches, hoists, and related equipment.Their expertise spans mechanical, hydraulic, and automation solutions, with a unique leadership position in three-chamber energy recovery systems.Currently with an opportunity for a Hardware – Electrical Engineer to join their team.

 

Job Experience:

• Min 2-3 Years’ experience in mine winder equipment (advantage)
• Design of electrical sub-assemblies of mine winders and associated equipment
• BEng/BTech Electrical Engineering

 

Skills Required:

• Thorough understanding of motor control / VSD / Drive system
• Thorough understanding of protection and control systems for winders
• Specifying / testing working knowledge of:
• Low voltage distribution and PLC-based control systems
• CAD and Eplan drawing packages / ability to draw with an Eplan parts database.
• Calculations for components and sub-assemblies
• Configuration of various types of drive systems
• Quality management system, internal and external
• Ability to test a control system.
• Ability to test a VSD.

 

Responsibilities:

• Development of new protection, control, and drive systems application
• Documentation including operating procedures, Risk Assessments, and descriptions.
• Training of internal and customer personal on drive operations
• Continuous self-education relating to new products and methods.
• Technical support for commissioning technicians and customer personnel
• Detailed Hardware design of general projects
• Draw electrical schematics in Eplan.
• Assist in creating equipment layout.
• Commission new/complex equipment
