Vacancy Details

An established real estates and investment institution with decades in the game, is looking for a Finance & Tax Manager to join their team. Reporting to the Head of Finance, this individual must have experience and exposure to corporate tax, international tax, VAT & Carbon Tax. If you are passionate about tax, a true leader and collaborator, then this one is for you!

Duties:

• REIT related calculations
• Controlled Foreign Companies,
• International Tax – Transfer pricing & Carbon Tax assessments
• Group tax computations
• IFRS & Consolidations
• Tax returns and SARS engagement
• Financial reporting of tax transactions
• Tax submissions to audit committee and board
• Normal and deferred tax calculations
• Assist with budgeting process
• Tax planning

 

Education:

• Postgraduate in Tax (NOT NEGOTIABLE)
• CA(SA)

 

Experience:

• 10 – 15 years in Corporate tax (post articles)
• Financial Services/Investment management/Property experience
• IFRS 4, 17 & Tax Legislation & Regulations
• Managerial experience is NB!
