Job Title: Key Accounts & Sales Specialist
Location: Cape Town: Southern Suburbs

Job Summary:
Act as the lead point of contact for all matters related to customer accounts.
Responsible for developing strong relationships with existing Key Account customers.
Responsible for generating leads from existing resources internally as well as externally
Liaising actively with the team for tailored routes, services, and pricing.
Ticket Management System – handling of all assigned client-related queries within the prescribed response and resolution times.
Overseeing customer account management, including negotiations on contracts and agreements to maximize profit and to ensure the retention of existing customers.
Regularly connecting with customers and building strong relationships in line with the customer journey program.
Ensuring that operational reports are prepared timeously.
Liaising actively with the Service Desk & Finance teams to secure and close out escalated opportunities.
Negotiations with prospective clients on contracts.
Ensuring that client queries are answered and resolved within prescribed times.
Assisting in determining pricing schedules for quotes, negotiations, and promotions.
Identifying new business opportunities amongst existing customers and the ability to convert leads and prospects.
Skills & Experience:
Previous experience/success as an Account Manager, Key Account Manager, or relevant role with a strong focus on sales.
Minimum 5-10 Years’ experience within the sales industry.
Strong understanding of sales processes and the dynamics connected to them.
The ability to mentor and guide junior sales agents in lead closure and deal negotiations.
Ability to build rapport with both customers, suppliers, and internal teams which will aid in better access to resources and lead closures.
Previous experience in the telecommunications industry/sector would be preferable.
Committed to excellent customer service and attention to detail.
Excellent active listening, negotiation, and presentation skills.
Experience with CRM-type software (e.g., Salesforce, Zoho CRM or HubSpot) and collaboration toolsets such as Office 365.
Qualification:
Relevant tertiary business qualifications or similar will be a benefit.
