Key Purpose
The Internship programme is for learners/students who have completed their Plumbing qualification and require work experience.

GUIDELINES FOR APPLYING TO THE INTERNSHIP:
- Please ensure that you apply only if you meet the minimum criteria in order to be eligible for the Internship
- You must have a valid SA ID
- Install, repair and maintain plumbing systems and components i.e. Geysers, taps and toilets
- Perform other related civil duties as required
- Knowledge of the tools, equipment, and materials common to the plumbing and civil trade.
- Basic knowledge of Health and Safety issues in connection with the Construction Industry.
- Basic understanding of relevant building codes, legislation, regulations, policies and procedures installation and maintenance.
- Ability to work cooperatively with other trades
- Skill in both verbal and written communication

- Enjoy a variety of administrative responsibilities i.e. Keeping log of material usage, managing Job cards

Qualifications & Experience
- Any Civil and Construction Technical Qualification e.g. NTC3 (theoretical)
- With a major in plumbing
- Own driver’s license and car (advantage)
- Basic understanding of relevant building codes, legislation, regulations, policies and procedures installation and maintenance. (Advantage)
- Skill in both verbal and written communication
