ERS Biometrics specialises in the marketing, implementation and the maintaining of biometric solutions for: Time & Attendance, Access Control. We specialise in a variety of biometric readers, from standalone GPRS devices to fully networked solutions. The readers cater mostly for fingerprint recognition but are also cable of reading RF and MIFARE cards. The latest addition to our product range is our facial recognition reader provising a non contact environment.
Job Title: Sales Executives
We require a Sales Executives who has the following competencies / experience :
Location: Centurion (Clubview)
Relevant sales experience
Bilingual (English & Afrikaans)
Computer literate (Ms Office essential, Excel)
Duties and Responsibilities :
Present and sell company products and services to current and potential clients.
Prepare action plans and schedules to identify specific targets and to project the number of contacts to be made.
Follow up on new leads and referrals resulting from field activity.
Identify sales prospects and contact these and other leads as assigned.
Prepare presentations, proposals and sales contracts.
Develop and maintain sales materials and current product knowledge.
Establish and maintain current client and potential client relationships.
Prepare paperwork to activate and maintain contract services.
Identify and resolve client concerns.
Prepare a variety of status reports, including activity, closings, follow-up, and adherence to goals.
Communicate new product and service opportunities, special developments, information, or feedback gathered through field activity to appropriate company staff.
Coordinate company staff to accomplish the work required to close sales.
Develop and implement special sales activities to reduce stock.
Other duties as assigned.
Participate in marketing events such as seminars, trade shows, and telemarketing events.
Follow-up for collection of 1st payment.
Provide on-the-job training to new sales employees.
Skills, Strengths and Characteristics :
Basic reading, writing, and arithmetic skills required. This is normally acquired through a high school, diploma or equivalent.
Ability to persuade and influence others.
Ability to develop and deliver presentations.
Ability to create, composes, and edits written materials.
Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
Knowledge of advertising and sales promotion techniques. This is normally acquired through a combination of sales education and sales or marketing experience.
Visibility requires maintaining a professional appearance and providing a positive company image to the public.
Work requires significant local travel to current and potential clients. This requires the possession of a valid RSA driver’s license and own transport.
Work requires willingness to work a flexible schedule and occasional country-trip travel.
Working conditions are normal for an office environment.
Work requires significant local travel and may require occasional overnight travel or evening work.
