Gauteng Children’s Rights Committee (GCRC) is a nonprofit organisation established in 1999, initially as a provincial structure of the National Children’s Rights Committee (NCRC). GCRC acquired its independent legal status from NCRC in 2004. GCRC’s main objective is to promote and protect the rights of children in Gauteng.

 

 

 

 

Job Title: Social Work Supervisor
Location: Johannesburg

Job Summary:

GCRC seeks to appoint a Social work Supervisor to be based in Sedibeng/ Evaton Office.

Salary: R17 000 P/M Cost to company (Non negotiable)

Minimum Requirements:

4yrs BA (Social Work) degree
5 yrs Social work practice experience
Resource mobilization, communication and networking skills
Experience in the children’s sector
Valid driver’s license (You are eligible to apply if your driver’s license is valid and YOU CAN DRIVE. If you have a driver’s license but you cannot drive, please do not bother to apply. We do drive test short listed candidates).
Ability to travel and work after hrs
Computer literacy and a valid registration with SACSSP
Proficiency in African Languages
1 to 2 years Social Work supervision – an added advantage
High level of maturity, ability to adapt and adjust to conditions in a township environment and office settings.
Ability to adhere and respect authority directives
