Job Title: Quality Assurance Intern
Job Location: Cape Town
Salary: Negotiated depending on knowledge and experience
Start date: October 2018
Report to: Monitoring and Evaluation Specialist (Sue Powell)

The purpose of the position is to support the Quality Assurance (QA) Function, in QA and Monitoring and Evaluation related processes within gold-youth. Provide support to gold’s QA Function, with a focus on data entry, analysis, integrity, and reporting, as well as any other tasks agreed with the gold Monitoring and Evaluation Specialist.

Responsibilities:

  • Assist with gold Grads database and information compilation
  • Coordinate outcomes research
  • Data entry and analysis
  • Assist with continuous data integrity checks, including communicating with field teams for data updates and clarity
  • Assist with the analysis and compilation of Monitoring and Evaluation reports
  • Update quarterly figures for the gold Dashboard, saving relevant databases and spreadsheets on to the gold server

  • Work towards a postgraduate degree in Social Sciences, Statistics, Development studies or a related field
  • Minimum of one year’s experience or training in a relevant field of operation
  • Experience of community development engagement or voluntary work
  • Data entry and analysis experience would be an advantage
