We invest in the growth of our people by offering skills development to GWK personnel, focusing on developing specific skills required for a certain job. We also offer internships and learner programmes to persons who haven’t completed high school. They will complete an NQF accredited programme over the course of 12 months, while earning a Staff members who have not obtained a matric qualification, are given the opportunity to complete different levels of ABET to obtain their Grade 12 certificate while working at GWK.

GWK is offering 2 apprenticeship opportunities within their Mechanisation & Engineering department in Douglas.

  • Repairing all agricultural equipment;
  • Providing general support;
  • Loss control and safety.

Requirements:

  • The suitable candidate must have a Gr.12 certificate or an equivalent certificate with Mathematics and Science as subject.
  • Candidates with technical training will be given preference

We also have 10 x Service Station Attendant (Level 16) at GWK Service Station in Prieska is vacant.

Core taskscustomers at fuel pumps;Maintaining and expanding high quality customer relations;Controlling fuel stock;

  • Ensure the correct payment procedure with fuel delivery;
  • Assistance during delivery of fuel;
  • Keeping the site clean and general housekeeping.

Requirements:

  • The suitable candidate must have basic reading and writing skills.
  • The suitable candidate must be willing to work on shifts including night shift;
  • The suitable candidate must be willing to work on weekends as well as public holidays.
  • Consolidating of sales action on computer;
  • Liaising with clients;
  • Handling of daily administration;
  • Stock management.
  • The suitable candidate must have a Grade 12 certificate.
  • Candidates with relevant experience will be given preference.
  • The appropriate candidate must be willing to work shifts, including night shift.
  • The appropriate candidate must be prepared to perform weekend services on a rotational basis.
