A well-established client based in Blackheath is seeking a Sales Consultant whose purpose will be to take full responsibility for all functions relating to the selling of all the companies products to new and existing customers, managing, and building customer relations and expansion of market share for the Company. The Sales Consultant will report directly to the Sales Manager
Education and qualifications required:
- Matric
- 5 years sales experience
- Proven successful sales track record
- Customer service Driven Sales
- Fire industry experience advantageous
- Basic computer skills
- Valid driving license

Key responsibilities include:
Sales:
- Consistent meeting and exceeding of sales targets
- Driving sales and market share by promoting brand building
- Achieve monthly sales targets inclusive of activity ratios
- Secure new customers
- Up selling of existing accounts
- Follow up on quotations issued to customers
- Follow up on quality of work done & customer satisfaction
- Planning of weekly activities, in line with strategy.
- Focusing on specific market segments as identified from time to time.
Customer Service:
- Ensuring superior standards of customer service
- Continuously striving for customer service excellence
- Develop professional work relationships with new and existing clients
- Develop route call scheduling as per Sales Policy
- Achieve zero tolerance service delivery standards and establish and maintain a service ethos
Reports:
- Accurate reporting of sales activities and market related issues
- Daily meeting feedback
- Weekly call schedule
- Customer surveys
- Communicate relevant market information.
- Communicate and address customer concerns and follow up satisfaction after corrective action.
Environmental Health and Safety:
- Comply with health and safety regulations at all times
General / other:
- Conduct any ad hoc tasks as requested by Management
- Contacts include all internal employees as well as external; excising and new customer portfolio
