Requirements:

• Matric
• Finance/Bookkeeping qualification
• 3-5 years of experience in a similar role
• Understanding of basic Accounting and Bookkeeping principles
• Freight forwarding knowledge would be essential

Responsibilities:

• Processing of foreign creditor invoices in the operating system
• Liaising with various stakeholders to resolve any queries related to foreign creditor invoices
• Preparation and payment of foreign creditors
• Processing of payments into cashbooks
• Ensuring that weekly forex lists are updated, and forward exchange contracts are booked
• Ensuring that all forward exchange contract recons are updated to maintain accurate records at all times
• Ensuring that AP ledgers are kept up to date monthly
• Processing of admin creditor invoices
• Preparation and payment of admin creditors
• Processing of payments into cashbooks
