Vacancy Details

Our client is currently seeking a highly skilled and experienced Head Chef to join their prestigious lodge. As the Head Chef, you will be responsible for leading their culinary team, creating exceptional dining experiences, and maintaining the highest standards of food quality and presentation. This is a unique opportunity to showcase your talent and creativity in a luxurious and breath-taking setting in Hoedspruit, Limpopo.

Qualifications:

• Relevant Tertiary Qualification
• Strong knowledge of cooking methods, kitchen equipment, and best practices

Experience:

• Chef Experience in a similar environment (five-star lodge)
• Experience in preparing fine dining five-star cuisine as well as special requirements such as kosher food.

  Package:

• Salary is negotiable depending on qualification, experience and references

• 21 days on7 days off work cycle

Responsibilities:

• Actively running a shift and producing high quality meals
• Maintaining and improving the culinary experience for guests
• Menu planning for guests as well as staff members
• Maintaining and improving food and health safety procedures and standards
• Managing and overseeing staff
• Staff training and development
• All administrative duties pertaining to the kitchen and employees
