Vacancy Details

Based in Stellenbosch, this exciting role would suit a person who is deadline driven and is team orientated, reporting to Financial Manager

KPA’S:

• Management of accounts department consisting of 5 people
• Monitoring/overseeing the day-to-day duties of the accounting team to ensure deadlines are met
• Assisting in training new staff or implementing new financial processes and procedures
• Analyzing of NOI report on a monthly basis to provide feedback on fluctuations, targets, excessive expenditure, etc
• Review of general ledger on a monthly basis to ensure accuracy and completeness of postings.
• Preparing monthly management account reports for property companies within the group.
• Monthly VAT recon pack reviews and ensure submission of returns at month end.
• Assist with VAT verification
• Prepare provisional tax calculations, reviewing of annual returns and assist with tax verifications.
• Assist with tax planning
• Prepare/provide all audit information and assist with AFS finalisation
• Support the Financial Manager in advising on various accounting matters
• Other duties and projects as needed
