Opportunity Available! Our leading client in the FMCG Sector is looking to employ a Production Supervisor to join their dynamic team in Cape Town.

 

Job Description: 

• Manage time & attendance
• Maintain the electronic time & attendance system
• Manage employee overtime & leave
• Drive discipline
• Manage productivity
• Manage daily temporary labour requirements
• Motivate the team
• Control and report on product quality & OEE of assigned Production Department(s)
• Prompt engagement with Maintenance on breakdowns & requirements
• Control production processes & monitor of stock levels
• Ensure stock rotation is followed (FEFO)
• Drive SHEQ policy and awareness
• Ensure prompt communication between management and shop-floor
• Prompt execution of daily production plan
• Partake in weekly & monthly stock counts

Job Requirements: 

• 3 to 4 years relevant experience (FMCG experience advantageous)
• Relevant National Training Certificate
• Must be computer literate
• Sage 300 experience (advantageous)
• Must be honest, reliable and accountable
• Must be willing to work overtime & weekends
