• System/Product Architecture design and documentation
• Long-term strategic responsibility for the company’s STB and related systems
• Technical coordination and negotiation with all internal and external stake holders on new product development, feature request roadmap, bug rating and impact assessment on complete MCA infrastructure were applicable
• Ability to explain the big picture and complex technical issues in a way that non-technical people may understand
• Demonstrate comprehensive knowledge of hardware, software, application, and systems engineering across MCA infrastructure
• Research
• Network Support/Administration
• Knowledge of VSAT, Data Miner and Adroit an advantage
• Knowledge required of TCP/IP based networks (IP Routing and multicasting)
COMPETENCIES:

Functional

• Minimum of 10+ years experience in embedded software design/development environment
• Experience in MPEG and DVB standards, interactive TV and STB
• Application/System architecture design and documentation
• Embedded Software Integration from multiple parties and unit testing.
• Knowledge of the business for which the enterprise architecture is being developed
• Embedded software debugging/troubleshooting
• Strong knowledge of the software development process
• Comprehensive knowledge of hardware, software, application, and systems engineering across MCA infrastructure
• Dealing with a large number of stake holders to come up with a coherent roadmap, strategy etc.
• Coordinating development with 3rd parties
