An industry leader in the pharmacy sector, is recruiting for an experienced and skilled pharmacist assistant

Experience

• The successful incumbent must possess at least two (2) years’ experience as a pharmacy assistant

Formal qualifications

• Matric
• Further Education and Training Certificate Pharmacist Assistance
• Valid driver’s licence
• Own reliable vehicle
• Willingness to travel

Responsibilities

• Interact with customers telephonically or other means regarding medication and Healthcare Services
• Accurate capturing of scripts received
• Handling of queries regarding prescriptions
• Patient Profile management
• Assist with Chronic authorizations
• Ad hoc requirements as per operational requirements
• Product knowledge (including over the counter medication)
• Customer service orientated
• Ethical working practice and compliance
• Must be bilingual
• Must be able to work with patients and be adaptable to assist with various departmental duties
• Be able to use initiative in order to provide patient satisfaction
